Job Description

Responsible for graphic web design for all clients and the company website.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow Quality Control system.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Provide a detailed weekly report to your manager.
  • Create web content, web graphics, multimedia and creative writing content for client websites.
  • Perform updating and maintenance for client web sites.
  • Creation of documentation for client web sites.
  • Publication of client web site on the Internet.
  • Setting up of client hosting, email and statistics for client web sites.
  • Perform manual and/or electronic search engine registrations for client web sites.
  • Search engine optimization.
  • Providing technical support for clients.
  • Web site development and design, strategy session participation and coordination, minute taking for production meetings.
  • Upselling clients on more features.
  • Maintaining maintenance files and tracking of your time for all clients to ensure profitability to the company on any extra billing.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with DreamWeaver MX Suite, Adobe Photoshop, CSS-P, CSS 2.0 and Coldfusion.
  • Ability and working knowledge of PHP and Flash MX.
  • Must be a recent graduate (within 3 years) from an acceptable post-secondary program normally offered by a university, college, or polytechnic.
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Be underemployed, or unemployed, or presently working in an area unrelated to their field of study.
  • Can produce highly impressive creative web design in a timely manner.
  • Provide impeccable customer service and be courteous, prompt, and timely.
  • Be able to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively both internally and externally i.e. Check email, forward to appropriate parties and reply timely with priority to editing requests or technical support requests.
  • Able to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in english.
  • Innovative and creative in the form of continuous improvement to internal processes.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
